Mosh to Nosh, the ballad of OTTO…
Combat boots, Mohawks, tattoos, spikes, leather, slam dancing, anarchy, the decline of western civilization…
Otto Parts (stage name) was the front man of a hardcore band called, REPO MEN. They had modest success in North Dakota and Idaho, selling as many as several dozen copies of their record, Repo Men – Spitting for Nickles, at assorted punk shows throughout Boise. The band had a huge following among the middle school demographic, playing many junior high school dances and bowling alley birthday parties.
Frustrated with the limitations of touring the tundra, Otto took the band on a nationwide tour, arriving in NYC just in time for the Zombie Apocalypse, and the rest as they say is history. During an abandoned warehouse show on the Hudson, the audience of Punks, Goths, street vermin and the band were overtaken by a crowd of Wall Street Zombies that had migrated from the Infestation Epicenter at the south end of Manhattan.
The ZOMBIES UNLEASHED Otto statue stands 11 ¼ inches tall, 7 inches wide and 5 ½ inches deep. Designed and sculpted by William Paquet. It is a polyresin model that comes UN-Painted and in a single piece, so no assembly required. Just wash with mild soap, prime and start painting.
