Herr Burkhart’s final war cry was cut short by an Allied sniper on the Western Front. He died among his fallen comrades, a final death rattle escaping his gaping mouth as explosions and smoke filled the air. A mysterious series of events more than half a century later have breathed life back into his rotten carcass as the first among a resurrected army soon to unleash Hell upon Earth!

Herr Burkhart is the first in a series of reissued busts from Quarantine Studio, titled Return of The Reich. These 1/4-scale bust are created in nauseating detail standing 8 1/4″ tall. This item comes unpainted.

Hans Jünger specialized in germ and chemical warfare. There was no compound he wouldn’t touch and no mission he would refuse. He spent his days concocting all manner of noxious chemical weapons that wrought havoc among his enemies. In time he became known only  as Obershütze Senfgas (Private Mustard Gas) and was a legend to both allies and enemies. But one sunny spring morning, while preparing a crate of canisters for a toxic attack, a small group of British paratroopers swept into the trench and annihilated Jünger and his men. Their carcasses rotted and sank into the blood drenched soil until the day of the RETURN of THE REICH unfolded.

It was known that the German Tiger Tank was most mighty of all armored killing machines in WW2. Able to withstand shelling and assaults that would turn most other vehicles into a scrap heap. Unfortunately, Panzerkommandant Jürgen, was piloting a Panzer when a well placed round from a Sherman Tank turned his roaming terror into a heap of smoldering bits, and him as well. Second in the RETURN of the REICH series, this portrait of Jürgen is sculpted in lovingly decayed detail, with authentic Nazi insignia and uniform designs. This limited edition statue stands 9 inches tall on a 3 by 4 inch base littered with mechanical mayhem. Designed and sculpted by William Paquet, exclusively for QUARANTINE STUDIO.
